Colour blocking is one of my favourite trends right now. I love seeing pops of bright colour during the cold dreary winter months. I’m especially happy to see bright jelly shoes making a come back. I remember begging my mum for a pair of clear jelly shoes when I was in primary school and when i finally got them I wore them to school with my uniform and an oversized denim jacket. Back then jelly shoes were around 6 bucks and there wasn’t much variety. Now you can take your pick of colours and styles and they are still very affordable. Jelly shoes aside, plastic shoes in general are becoming very trendy and with brands like Melissa around I think they are set to make their mark in the fashion industry. More and more people are ditching the ye olde cow hide for plastic fantastic and I can’t blame them with the amazing array of styles and colours. All of these shoes are beautiful and also very comfy!
